Taco Soup: A hearty, flavorful soup with hamburger, beans, and veggies. Perfectly seasoned with taco and ranch spices.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb hamburger meat

  • 2 packets taco seasoning

  • 1 packet dry ranch seasoning

  • 1 can diced tomatoes

  • 1 can corn

  • 1 can black beans

  • 1 can kidney beans

  • 1 can Rotel

  • 1 can tomato sauce

  • Optional Toppings:
  • Sour cream

  • Shredded cheese

  • Jalapeños

Directions

  • Cook Hamburger Meat:
  • In a skillet, cook the hamburger meat over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Combine Ingredients:
  • Add the cooked hamburger meat to a large pot.
  • Add the diced tomatoes, corn, black beans, kidney beans, Rotel, and tomato sauce to the pot.
  • Sprinkle in the 2 packets of taco seasoning and the dry ranch seasoning.
  • Simmer:
  • Stir all ingredients together until well combined.
  • Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat.
  • Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve:
  • Ladle the soup into bowls.
  • Top with sour cream, shredded cheese, and jalapeños as desired.
