Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Snickerdoodle Topping:
  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  • In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • In another bowl, cream butter, sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Beat in pumpkin, eggs, and vanilla.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  • Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan. Mix topping ingredients and sprinkle over the batter.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then remove to a wire rack.
