🧀🌿 Ricotta and Spinach Stuffed Shells 🌿🧀
Ingredients:
- 24 jumbo pasta shells
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- 1 package frozen spinach, thawed and drained
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, grated Parmesan, 1 cup of mozzarella, thawed and drained spinach, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Stuff each cooked pasta shell with the ricotta mixture and arrange them in a baking dish.
- Pour the marinara sauce evenly over the stuffed shells.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
