Cheesy Bacon-Wrapped Onion Rings are a deliciously indulgent snack that will satisfy all your cravings for savory, cheesy goodness.

Ingredients

  • 2 large onions, sliced into thick rings

  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

  • 1/2 cup gouda cheese, shredded

  • 12-16 strips of bacon

  • 1/2 cup flour

  • 2 eggs, beaten

  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

  • Oil for frying

  • For the Dipping Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 2 tbsp sriracha sauce

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

Directions

  • Prepare the Onion Rings:
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Mix the three cheeses together in a bowl.
  • Take each onion ring and stuff the inside with the cheese mixture.
  • Wrap each stuffed onion ring with bacon, overlapping slightly to seal in the cheese.
  • Dredge the bacon-wrapped rings in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat in panko breadcrumbs.
  • Cook the Onion Rings:
  • Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
