  • 1 large egg

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well until combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Gently fold in the mini marshmallows and chocolate chips, creating swirls of marshmallow throughout the dough.
  • Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the marshmallows are golden and gooey.
  • Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
